Off to see the parents

Vincent left yesterday (in First Class of course!) to spend some time with the family in Amstelveen...and I stayed behind to take care of the boys....
We miss him allready........

I am having an Amsterdam layover,and the Hosjes came and picked me up from the airport,and I am spending the day here....We are having lots of red wine and snacks....More pictures to follow when the Molenaartjes get here for dinner!......

Saturday Lunch

We walked over to Frasca for lunch,but they only had their brunch menu (and way too many scheitkokers for my liking....) so we decided to head over to Fountainhead,a new gastropub on Montrose....It was very yummie.....

Loving my husband

I surprised my husband yesterday,with the new book from Sam Harris,2bottles of wonderful red wine,and a new fondue set.

We had a lovely candlelight dinner with an amazing beef fondue,made with beef broth,red wine,aged mushrooms and leeks.....

Death by butter

I think my husband is secretly trying to kill with pure butter.....He cooked this lovely meal of carbonaatjes and potatoes fried in butter the other night.....I am still recovering from all the lovely grease......

Oh those Chilean miners.....

• So I have been captivated by these amazing Chilean miners,stuck underground for 69 days....I am so impressed by the Chileans,they are so much more in control,than us silly Americans....People who can not wait for anything for even 5 minutes,should learn a lot from these rescued miners,trapped for 69days....

A pleasant Sunday

A typical Sunday afternoon at The Hosjes....Vincent playing Halo (don't worry...I am timing him...only 1hr and 15min of play time!) and the puddies are lazying in the bedroom.....

A beautiful fall day...at 85 degrees!

Today was just not right...Its October 10th...and its about 85 degrees....Its hotter than hell....Even the puddies are confused...as is Vincent!.....

Ten Ten Ten

Today,10-10-10 was the Chicago marathon....which always runs thru our neighborhood....I got up early,to see if I could catch a glimpse of my friend Myrna,who always runs this crazy race,but I missed her.....so Vincent and I decided to go to Wilde,and drink bloody mary's and champagne,whilst these poor people were running their butts off.......

New Blackberry

Yeah yeah!.....Vincent bought me a new blackberry....and I am now free to take all the pictures I want,and post them on here!.....I did miss my blackberry.....So here a re a few pics from last night,and Vincent asleep this morning,with the puddies looking on........
