All good

Yesterday Vincent and I went to see Dr Perry,to discuss the results of the CT scan Vincent had last week.
Dr Perry is a lovely doctor, and thank Buddha,Vincent's kidney stones are both very small, and can be removed by taking medication for 3 months, and his cyst in his kidney is perfectly normal, about 99.9% of the population has them.

So all is well again in huize Hos (USA version...unfortunately Jacqueline is in the hospital right now, having her 4cm kidney stone removed, and is not happy.....)

Cleared for take off

I was finally cleared by my lovely corporate "nurse in a cubicle who has never met me" yesterday, and today I made my schedule for May.

I was actually able to pick any trip I wanted...Hong Kong (too long) Lima (both allnighters) Tokyo (too much radiation) Frankfort (me not liking the Germans) London (hotel is awful) Sao Paulo (same problem as Lima, allnighter flights) Shanghai or Beijing (too long and too much work) or some domestic flights, but they were awful,5am check-ins and 6legs a day,no thank you.

So I picked my usual schedule of Amsterdam and Brussels...

Stick with what you like!

The mean typewriter

Alain has been fascinated/afraid of the typewriter for a while. However recently,he as been more adventurous and actually ventured near and on the typewriter....and I of course, start typing a letter, and Alaintje jumps about 3 feet in the air....
One day he will conquer that typewriter!
Puddies always win.

More puddies,puddies,puddies

I just love to watch the puddies drink from their water bowl....I find it fascinating, how they manage to take these dainty little sips....especially Alaintje....He is such a French puddie...

Puddies,puddies,puddies

I was always wondering, why Alaintje was always puddying behind the new red couch,so the other day I actually moved the couch and took a look....and found an enormous "hole"that he had made, and he was puddying INSIDE of the red couch.....

Now I have got to find a way to tape the hole up,because there are some nasty looking nails inside that couch...but Alaintje don't care!....

Not cleared...

As we all know, yesterday my doctor faxed a form over to my company's (note the not mentioning of my place of work!) medical department, stating I could return to work on May 2nd.

So I checked my file on the computer this morning, and no mentioning of my return date...So I call our medical department, and apparently they need a lot more information on my "medical condition" before they will allow me to return to work...

It is a whole list full of kitz and kaboodle and apparently it is being send to me as we speak...

So now I am patiently awaiting the letter and the list, and then it will be off to another appointment with the lovely Dr. Ramirez....

I wonder and ponder if I will ever return to the lovely skies to do my job.....
