Lavender and Woot

When we were having dinner at Marcellus and Petra last week,Petra had put some wonderful lavender in the meatballs, and I inquired about this, and she gave me a sample, and the website...

So I went over to www.cedarbrooklavender.com and bought a jar,and some lavender catnip for Dieudone....

As you can see from the photos,Dieudone LOVES her lavender catnip....and we humans LOVE the cooking lavender....it is Lekker!

Marcellus also had this black back pillow, which was so comfortable,so I bought one for my aching back...and it is really helping....

And I became a member of www.woot.com....and bought my first item today!....An European Ninja Master Prep!....(a food chopper and drink maker!)

Thank you Marcellus and Petra for the wonderful websites~!

Vincent LOVES his new couch!

Alain is fed up

Alaintje had enough...
First his red couch was taken to the trash, then there was this big open space in the middle of the room, then these strange men came and put down a new red couch.... Alaintje decided that was the final straw....and hid in mommy's purple chariot for a while!

The new Red Couch has arrived!

Check out the cool new Red Couch!

LOLA

I went to see Dr Ramirez yesterday, for a follow up of the epidural steroid injection. We don't think it took very well,as my lower right leg is still in massive pain, stil can not feel it,and my back is still sore, etc etc....so I am going back for my second epidural with the lovely Dr.Chekka on March 15th...and still not released for flying duties until April 1st,when we shall reassess.....

So here are some photos of me...just in case you forgot what I looked like!...

Vincent having breakfast

I made Vincent his favorite breakfast this morning...pancakes with bacon and syrup....Lekker!

Awaitng the new Red Couch

Vincent and I decided that the old red couch we had bought in 2008 had seen its last days...and bought a really cool, simple cheap red couch, which is being delivered today....

So last night,Vincent dismembered the old couch (with me helping out with the chariot,as I am not being able to lift anything....) and we took it out to the trash, and had had dinner on the floor, with pillows and all....Quite romantic,I must say!....

Or shall we say "resting..."

A photo of Vincent and laundry

I decided it was time to do laundry again...but the landlord upped the price for the machines...so I did not have enough quarters for the dryers....and had to dry the old fashioned way...which meant our entire little apartment was full of Vincent's underwear and socks, hanging on the weirdest places...
It was kind of nice, doing things the old way...

and a photo of Vincent.

No love

So I usually let Vincent sleep in on the weekends, and I get up at 5:30am (at the Boy's insistence..) and I give them fresh water, fresh knabbeltjes and give them their wet food....and then make a nice pot of tea for the humans....and what do the boys do,as soon as they are done eating....

They run over to daddy in the warm bed....and stay with him until he gets up....

Thank you boys!

Dinner at Marcellus and Petra

Last night we went over to Hyde Park for dinner at Marcellus,Petra and Sophietje (whom looked wonderful by the way!)
Petra cooked an amazing dinner of stuffed peppers, lamb meatballs (with amazing lavender!) a salad and tortillas...and Marcellus provided the wine from his wonderful wine collection..

All in all,it was a lovely evening amongst good friends.

Marcel and Petra enjoying the "prince albert piercing" website!

After dinner,we ended up talking about Prince Albert piercings, which Marcellus and Petra were very confused about,so I actually had to show them some photos of these lovely piercings on google....

And as you can tell,Petra was very interested!
