First day at B&B

Our wonderful new boss Amy had organized a lovely day for us.In the morning she told us to check out this great breakfast place in the Quarter called Le Croissant D'Or, which had the most amazing chocolate croissants and cafe au lait....yum!
Then at 1030am,we met with Dave,a wonderful tour guide, who gave us a historical walking tour of the French Quarter that lasted two hours....amazing what we learned!
On our way back to the B&B,we stopped by a local grocery store, bought some beers and two poboys, came back to the B&B,sat outside in the gardens, had our lunch and read the local papers.
Amy came back later in the afternoon, and patiently gave us a lesson on the computer system (which is fairly easy to figure out...we shall see in the future, how many reservations I can screw up over phone!) For dinner,Vincent and I strolled through the Quarter, and ate at Remoulade.

Today,we are going to clean around the B&B,I am going to actually clean a room!..and Vincent is going to clean around the gardens and hang up some paintings....and at 1230,Amy has another tour organized for us....

Life is good!
