First,last night we had another guest check in...a wonderful man from California,we welcomed him,showed him around,gave him a glass of wine,I lend him our laptop,so he could check his email,and he seemed very happy.....
We then buggered off,and had a lovely dinner (and expensive!) at Meaux Bar....
This morning,I got up at 6am,took out the butter,got the breakfast table ready,got the coffee going,then Vincent woke up,we did a practice run with one of our breakfast meal and since Vincent had promised our guest from last night a couple of things to do in the city, I printed everything out....and then we waited for 930am...and our guests arrived!
They seem to love everything...our one couple needed some directions,thank god for mighty google and the internet!I jumped on the computer,and got everything like a pro!
Then we sat and chatted with our guests,and had an amazing conversation with them...yes even about politics and religion!...One lady is a teacher in the inner city of New Jersey,and what an amazing lady she is...wow...
Then they left,I cleaned up,and Vincent went to refresh the rooms,got one other cottage ready for a guest checking in at 1pm,then we had a photographer come by,to take pictures for a website....and then it was noon,and we have a few minutes to breathe,until 1pm,and the next guests arrive...
Tonight we might be going to Amy's house for wine and a cooking lesson.....
Life is good....actually it is bloody great!
